On September 17th and 18th, 2007 the Upstate New York Regional Minority Purchasing Council hosted our 29th Annual Exposition & Business Opportunity Fair at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center in Rochester, New York. The Expo is the Council's marquee networking event that is attended by the "Who's Who" of supplier diversity in Upstate New York. This year's sponsors included Eastman Kodak Company, Xerox Corporation, Delphi Corporation, Verizon and Verizon Wireless, and Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson Company. Keynote speaker of the event, Dr. Therman Evans, gave an inspiring presentation that captivated the entire audience. The entertainment for the evening was no other than, national recording artist, Jimmie Highsmith Jr. and his Band.
